Levin Rinke Realty is looking for an experienced Controller for its Pensacola Beach, FL location. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for overseeing general bookkeeping tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Primary duties:
- Manage the accounting department (2 person team)
- Payroll processing, including quarterly and year-end filings
- Processing and paying sales tax
- Completing year-end forms and tangible tax returns
- Processing daily commission checks
- Reconciling accounts for multiple companies, including vendor accounts
- Processing accounts receivables and accounts payables
- Assist with other accounting/bookkeeping related tasks as needed
Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience:
- Certified Public Accountant
- At least 3 years of experience using QuickBooks
- Experience in A/R and A/P processing, payroll preparation, year-end tax reporting
- Familiarity with HUD closing statement is a plus
- Developing and Implementing Accounting Department Procedures
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong financial reporting skills
- Advanced proficiency using Excel
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to assist with the implementation of process improvements within the financial and accounting function
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
