We are looking for an experienced construction superintendent who can lead our team and subcontractors. You'll help our construction company plan and manage projects from start to finish for homeowners or clients. Additional responsibilities include daily scheduling, maintaining the safety and compliance of a construction site, and supervising all activities. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of construction field experience with leadership skills in managing general contractors highly preferred. • Address the project's costs with clients to ensure that it remains within budget
• Reduce accidents and delays on construction sites by ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and reporting any problems to the project manager as soon as they arise
• Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily
• Recruit subcontractors and make sure they have all of the necessary permits
• Assess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible quality

• Possesses a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
• Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills
• 5 years of prior experience as a general contractor is required for this position; additional management experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office
