We’re looking for the best and brightest Construction/Maintenance Project Manager in the area to lead the department for our growing portfolio of rental and retail properties in the Chicagoland area.
A successful Property Manager will be professional at all times, be able to work with various types of people, exhibit strong organizational skills and enjoy a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also display excellent business judgment, possess a strong sense of fairness and integrity as they manage and oversee multiple large projects run by several GC's.
The ideal Construction/Maintenance Project Manager must be able to manage short-term and long-term maintenance and construction projects. Must possess strong leadership and people skills in dealing with field workers, property managers, and tenants. Must be able to prepare budgets and timelines accurately and track progress against them. Must have strong computer skills, be able to take initiative, be able to manage multiple projects and schedules, is well organized, detail oriented, and able to speak to people from all walks of life. Prior experience in project management is required. Knowledge of construction materials and skills is preferred.
Our company buys and sells homes in and around the Chicagoland market through a variety of different relationships and unique methods. We manage about 200 properties in the Chicagoland market. Most of our homes are in urban development neighborhoods on the South Side of Chicago or South Suburbs. We fix and flip properties for rental and sales, as well as wholesale properties.
