Are you an experienced construction administrator with a keen eye for details? We are looking for someone to help us manage our busy construction office and oversee contract administration, cash management, and quality control. Our ideal candidate has 3 years of construction administration support experience and a firm grasp of construction industry best practices. Responsibilities
  • Assist construction project managers to estimate and adhere to proper budgets, create project schedules, and communicate project updates
  • Detail accurate project team rosters, work logs of construction activities, and job information sheets
  • Assemble the closeout package including maintenance agreements, equipment information, warranties, and contractor contact information
  • Carry out cash management, billing activities, and payroll tasks - prepare invoices, subcontracts, work orders, change orders, purchase orders, and punch lists
  • Ensure that the contract document requirements are met throughout the construction experience by overseeing the construction contract administration and submittal log processes

  • Support the Project Manager with project management scheduling
  • Attend Site Walks, Meetings with Project Manager
  • Schedule city inspections and obtain city permits
  • Obtain pricing, bids from subcontractors
  • Support in scheduling specialty trades
  • Capture change orders throughout the life-span of the project(s)
  • Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met
  • Maintain required project documentation and prepare weekly minutes

Qualifications
  • Exceptional time management, organization, attention to detail, and communication skills are needed
  • Three years of experience in construction services, construction administrative support, contract administration, or construction project management is needed
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and processes are valuable -including AIA documentation, codes, and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and project or construction management software
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required – some college highly preferred

  • Construction experience in residential/multi-family
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is required
  • Strong administration skills
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented, excellent multi-tasker
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft office, Excel, Google Docs, Docusign, Dropbox, construction management software

Compensation
$56,000 - $72,800 yearly
