We are a local construction company looking to hire a detail-oriented individual to manage/coordinate our construction projects. This individual will be responsible for reviewing proposed renovations, repairs, and additions, and finalizing budgets for these projects. They will work together with our team to collect competitive bids, gather details for the SOW, and document data for project renovations. The project planner will create schedules for each project detailing out the plan for the entire job and will update them weekly based on performance, the capacity of our crews, materials availability, etc. If you consider yourself a planner, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data in order to build budgets for construction projects
  • Work with our designer to build a detailed plan for the renovation
  • Prepare a schedule for entire projects (analyzing the capacity of our crews)
  • Complete paperwork for project permit applications

Qualifications

  • Preferably have some experience in the construction industry
  • Must have strong scheduling skills (understanding the use of dependencies, critical path, milestones)
  • Strong computer skills (ideally excel experience) and quickly be able to learn new software
  • Be able to read through a set of plans to create detailed product lists and Sq Ft takeoffs

Compensation
$40,000 yearly
