This crucial role involves the field management of concrete scope and personnel for federal construction projects. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in all facets of concrete construction and has significant experience managing a concrete crew of at least 4-5 personnel. • Implement fieldwork within defined scope, schedule, and budget while performing safely and to a high degree of quality. 
• Review and comprehend project specifications and plans.
• Complete daily inspection of form materials and rebar placement.
• Assists in creating a positive and supportive work environment, while enforcing a safe workplace.
• Complete assigned corporate and site-specific training in a timely fashion.
• Work through adverse weather conditions.

• Experience forming and placing concrete for walls, headwalls, storm boxes, curb and gutter, and flat work.
• Proficient in heavy equipment, including but not limited to, excavator, dozer, loader, backhoe, etc.
• Basic understanding of grade/slopes, and rigging requirements
• Must be passionate about completing work safely and with the highest degree of quality.
• Good communication skills to relay and receive information to/from appropriate management personnel for assigned projects/tasks.
• Strong work ethic with keen attention to detail.
• Travel required.
• As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Earthwork and grading experience are a plus, along with the willingness and ability to learn GPS systems.
• Minimum 3 years preferred managing form setters, finishers, and laborers. 

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Environment

Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.  Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
