We’re looking for a full-time hands-on Community Manager to be accountable for all day-to-day property operations including maintenance while enhancing the value of the property. The schedule would be split up between administrative/resident relations/retention and maintenance duties. Operational tasks such as collecting lot rent and lease payments, managing supplies, managing marketing, and protecting all company assets are expected to be performed regularly. The Community Manager is also the main advocate for the residents and will be the point person when it comes to resolving all complaints that come through the office. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading on-site rentals and assisting in marketing efforts
  • Enhancing resident experience
  • Maintaining and developing good working relationships between vendors and the corporate office
  • Administering and maintaining resident ledgers
  • Rent collections, bank deposits, delinquencies, and collections
  • Overseeing customer billing and collections
  • Executing the company’s standard operating procedures and policies
  • Working with vendors to beautify the property
  • Providing seasonal lawn care – weed eating, basic landscape installs leaf removal, shrub, fence line trimming, etc.
  • Performing general community daily clean-up tasks
  • Maintaining and repairing common area amenities including storage yard, Pavillion, office, and maintenance shop
  • Preventative maintenance on community equipment – mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by Corporate or the Regional Manager

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds
  • Must have knowledge and experience operating mowers, blowers, weed eaters, chain saws
  • Minimum of 2 years residential property management experience
  • Team-oriented with an exceptionally strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills
  • Valid driver’s license with no major violations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to create legible written reporting and note-taking
  • Basic computer knowledge, particularly email and the internet
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Availability to work on an on-call as needed during non-business hours
  • Must pass a standard background check, including criminal and credit

Compensation
$35,000 - $38,000 yearly
