• Locates and marks the position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors, using a ruler, spirit level, and plumb bob
• Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand tools and power tools
• Cuts and threads pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine
• Studies building plans and working drawings to determine the work required and the sequence of installations
• Inspects structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from the installation of pipe
• Estimate costs of plumbing installation, repairs, and services to customers
• Threading gas pipes and installing a gas system
• Solder and run copper
• Tankless water heater installation
• Underground plumbing
• Install cast iron pipe and rough plumbing
• Team player
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Communicate with team members
• Able to travel to project sites throughout San Diego County

• 3+ years of plumbing commercial
• Plumbing license required
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specifications (structural, architectural, civil, plumbing, and cut sheets)
• Great communication
• Have basic hand tools and know how to use them properly and safely
• Must live in San Diego
• Must have working rights in the USA
