Mr. Texas Real Estate
This position is responsible for gathering, reviewing, and delivering packages of documentation that allow borrowing entities (LLCs) to obtain complex business-purpose loans on residential real estate. The processor will anticipate underwriting needs and respond appropriately and timely to requests from lenders while working under limited supervision.
The position will be responsible for obtaining loan approvals, gathering loan documentation from borrowers, insurers, and other parties, and ensuring support documentation is complete for the type of loan. This position is responsible for working with lending staff to clarify and resolve any deficiencies in the loan file.
The position will oversee the closing process, ensuring all parties have relevant documents and the closing statement is accurate.

Responsibilities
- Correspond with loan officer, account managers, borrowers, underwriter, title company and closing team throughout the loan process, from loan application to funding.
- Reach out and follow up with borrowers to collect and verify underwriting documents.
- Ensure all property files are completed according to checklist.
- Collect and verify property details such as but not limited to verifying entity names across documents, accuracy of Evidence of Insurance, flood zone, additions, etc.
- Review file documentation for missing or erroneous information
- Follow up to obtain and deliver corrected documents.
- Review collateral support documents such as surveys and title commitments and flag areas of potential concern
- Meet tight loan processing deadlines
- Collect confidential data from borrowers such as financial statements, applications, personal business documents, title reports, and other sensitive documents required during the due diligence process
- An ideal candidate will need to be a strong communicator, detail oriented, and comfortable working with a limited time schedule
- Competent with Office suite and in operating cloud-based CRM for pipeline management
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Work authorization (Required)
- High school diploma or GED required - Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required)
- Commercial Mortgage Processing: 3 years (Preferred but not required)
- 3+ years of previous experience in commercial loan processing is ideal.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills are required.
- Ability to operate in a deadline-driven environment without sacrificing attention to detail, self-motivated.
- Proven ability to research and analyze problems and obtain solutions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Written communication skills including grammar, spelling, and composition
- Verbal communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with clients and all levels of management
- Must have the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations
- Working knowledge of computers and window-based programs.
Compensation
$36,000 - $80,000
