Peter Kern Library Cocktail Server

Our speakeasy bar, Peter Kern Library, is looking for a cocktail server to join our craft cocktail bar team. We aim to deliver high-quality cocktails without being pretentious. Cross-training and filling in to cover barback, bartending, and greeter positions helps build knowledge and presents the possibility for growth. If you have a passion for cocktails and are looking for an exciting environment to learn in, Peter Kern Library is the perfect opportunity.

• Greeting and seating guests
• Operating POS system
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Prepping and stocking the bar
• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our menu, cocktails, and spirits
• Helping guide guests through cocktail orders

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
• Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers

• Previous experience in cocktail service is preferred.

The Oliver Hotel is Knoxville's nicest boutique hotel.
