Set Up Person III - CNC Operator - Night Shift

The Set-up Person III Operates CNC machines accurately transact all work orders and complete all required reports.

• Follow schedule
• Setup CNC Machines (both Lathe and Mill)
• Inspect parts
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Perform subsequent production control inspections
• Accurately transact all work orders and complete all required reports
• Comply with all safety and health policies
• Perform preventative maintenance as required

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2 years of experience desired as a level 1 Setup Person
• Able to read set-up sheets
• Able to send and receive programs from the computer to the machine
• MRP/ERP work experience desired
• Proficient with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers. Etc.)
• Able to load vise jaws and or chuck jaws and part stops
• Ability to select proper tooling
• Ability to adjust speed and feed to improve output and tool life
• Ability to edit program
• Able to work in an ever-changing/lean manufacturing environment
