River Valley Title Group is looking for a Closing Specialist to provide prompt, professional service with a personal touch. Whether a customer is buying, selling, or refinancing real estate, this position will help close the real estate transaction.

• Process and review closing files for completeness and accuracy. Obtain missing information from real estate associates
• Order and research all necessary information for the upcoming closing, including payoff requests, association disclosure requests, tax and utility information, and warranty information
• Build relationships with local lenders to capture the title insurance orders and increase title business
• Assist in locating title evidence and opening title orders to capture and increase the abstract extension market share
• Communicate with all parties of the transaction regarding procedures and process of closing file
• Work with new agents to train and educate on the closing process
• Facilitate pre-signing with sellers
• Disburse closing funds, deliver/wire payoffs, deposit seller proceeds
• Facilitate construction draws, paperwork, disbursements, pictures, etc.
• Collect lien waivers from contractors

• Prior experience with real estate title search reviews is preferred but not required
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
• Must be able to work efficiently, independently, handle deadline pressures, and work as a member in a team-oriented environment
