Description
The Clinical Supervision Specialist is a Licensed Mental Health Therapy (Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor) who will carry their own caseload of clients (individual, couples, family, and assessments) as well as a caseload of supervisees. Supervisees may include post-graduate employees and doctoral student externs as applicable to one’s degree and license. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about clinical supervision, professional development, and mentorship, and who wants to maintain a caseload of their own clients as well. 

Full caseload requirements include:

  • 15-20 individual client contact hours (minimum)
  • 3-5 supervisees (minimum)

$52-$57/hour depending on degree type and supervision experience No limit on income potential, up to $108,160-$118,560 annually

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct service to clients including individual therapy (required) and psychological assessment (if desired). Time spent writing assessment reports is compensated and psychological tests are administered to you by a technician.
  • Provide clinical supervision to trainees such as Postdoctoral Psychology Residents, Postgraduate Master's Residents, and doctoral psychology student externs.
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner.
  • Practice teamwork by managing workload independently, asking for support and collaboration when needed, challenging others on the team, especially with areas of privilege and oppression, and celebrating with teammates through clinical wins and personal milestones.

Qualifications

  • Licensed in Colorado or eligible for license in Colorado as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor.
  • LPCs must have 3 years of licensure and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential (or equivalent training approved by DORA) to qualify for this position per state supervision requirements.
  • Interest in clinical supervision of other professionals
  • Ongoing commitment to cultural humility
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including assertive communication
  • A desire for strong professional relationships with fellow team members

Compensation
$52 - $57 hour DOE and Degree
