We have an amazing opportunity for a professional who is passionate about client care to join our team as a psychologist. Successful candidates will be able to conduct psychological assessments and testing, as well as diagnoses, recommendations, and treatment for our clinical populations who deal with adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, multi-trauma injury, chronic pain, head injury, and other mental health conditions. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills are a must and will help you coordinate and collaborate care with an interdisciplinary team, case managers, and other treatment providers. Responsibilities
- Post and publish articles, papers, and reports to share your professional research and
- Create and manage treatment plans and therapeutic procedures, as well as conduct frequent meetings or sessions to track client progress
- Provide referral services to outside therapists, clinics, and treatment facilities
- Evaluate and analyze behavioral or emotional patterns that might help patients better understand and anticipate their own behavior
- Diagnose mental health problems by identifying psychological, emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Develop and enact treatment plans for clients
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy, as well as conduct psychological evaluations (customize the blend of services offered based on preference and expertise)
- Monitor client progress through regular appointments, making adjustments to treatment when necessary
- Complete required documentation of clinical care in a timely manner
- Participate in staffing and interdisciplinary team consultation meetings
Qualifications
- Must have exceptional analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills
- Current state licensure approved by the ASPPB (Association of State and Provincial Licensing Boards) in the state you practice
- This position requires passage of the EPPP (Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology)
- Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program
- NC Psychology License (license-eligible or provisional licensure will be considered for the right fit)
- 1-3 years of supervised experience under a licensed psychologist
- Available to hold at least 20-25 patient sessions per week
- Excellent analytical, communication, and observational skills
Compensation
$102,000 - $110,000 yearly
