Are you collaborative, compassionate, and pride yourself on providing high-quality care? We are an eating disorder specialty IOP in beautiful, coastal NC seeking an LCSW, LCMHC, or PhD (NC license/license eligible) to serve as our Clinical Director. In this role, you will manage a dynamic team of motivated professionals and oversee the operations of a thriving clinical program that is looking to expand to PHP level of care. Eating disorder experience is required and management experience preferred.

Accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the state as a facility to provide outpatient and day treatment for adults with eating disorders, we are a locally owned business in operation since 2003.
Responsible for providing effective leadership to the clinical staff, having knowledge of the organization and function of the IOP programming. Directs all activities within the program in accordance with standards of state and federal regulations. Sits on board of directors for facility services. Provides clinical services to clients.

  • Oversee all aspects of the program to ensure services provided are of high quality.
  • Develop and plan strategies to manage program growth and ensure program sustainability.
  • Participate in professional development activities in order to maintain and enhance professional skills.

  • Maintain confidentiality, HIPAA standards, and client rights at all times.
  • Conduct weekly IOP treatment team meetings to ensure consistent and effective communication between team members, proper oversight of client development and progress and to ensure a team approach is utilized in the treatment of our clients.
  • Assist with the completion of paperwork and maintain all records and documentation required for program compliance and accountability in accordance with company standards and funding source requirements.
  • Leads and attends planning and administrative meetings.
  • Communicate all pertinent clinical and administrative information to the Executive Director and other members of the team as appropriate.
  • Assist with recruitment, supervision, training, evaluation of staff and interns.
  • Develop, and revise as necessary, the program curriculum.
  • Assists Executive Director with other tasks as necessary and covers executive director responsibilities during her absence.
  • Provide individual, group or family therapy in accordance with the Chrysalis Center standard of client care.
  • Document in the medical record according to requirements of regulatory agencies, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
