Clinical Director will also have a caseload of their own clients and provide clinical supervision to associate therapists. Ideally, the clinical Director will visit each location on a regular basis and be available for consultations and check in regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient counseling to patients
  • Provide clinical supervision to associates
  • Lead and manage clinical management teams
  • Build great relationship

  • Nurture and support team managers

Qualifications

  • ​In this position the primary objective: to support all clinical managers at various locations in their roles managing locations
  • Clinical Support: 
  • Consult on complex cases
  • Support with outreach to disgruntled parents/patients if CM unable to resolve concern
  • Letter/Document request policies 
  • Support on high-risk cases 
  • Support on referrals to higher levels of care
  • Intake Team consults on fit of the practice on cases
  • Custody/family law cases - paperwork needed and boundaries with both law and ethics 

Staffing Concerns:

  • Policy and procedures violations and how to manage this
  • Deciding when to write up/start probation
  • Raises and how much after 90 day and annual reviews are completed 
  • Open communication with Shakera in HR for her consult/support 
  • Auditing Employee files to ensure managers have completed onboarding and offboarding

Facility Support:

  • Keeping offices looking nice and supporting any concerns
  • Maintaining google docs with utilities and support info
  • All CM’s have credit cards to maintain supplies
  • Run CM meeting Mondays at 11 am-12 pm via Google Meet with Clinical Manager meeting agenda
  • Leadership Support:
  • Train on leadership skills as needed
  • Positive, strengths-based approach 
  • Attend and help plan team social events
  • Reduce turnover by promoting positive team culture
  • Productively:
  • Analyse patient rétention
  • Analyze gross income results
  • Recommend intervention when too low
  • Recommend bonuses as appropriate
  • Reduce unnecessary admin time on team
  • Prepare team for changes in intake ratios
  • Recruitment:
  • Utilize personal network to support current team and attract new team members
  • Hire, train and support team members
  • Support Team:
  • Lead the clinical part of intakes, billings and provide support to those team members
  • Attend support team meeting weekly
  • Guide in boundary setting with difficult cases
