Our busy, enterprising family law Firm in Denver is seeking a highly professional Client Engagement Specialist (CES) who has the ability to build our client-base and maintain effective client relationships over time with the firm. Are you highly talented at developing and maintaining client relationships? How about being adept at leveraging active listening skills that increase the volume and success of client engagements? If so, keep reading on. This may be just the opportunity you've been looking for!

The CES will conduct initial consultations with prospective new clients (“PNCs”). These PNCs seek out our Firm and are pre-screened by a client intake person who collects basic information before the initial consultations. The CES is not required or expected to make cold calls.

The CES will:

  • Collect more in-depth information about PNCs and the matters for which they are seeking the Firm’s help
  • Follow Firm prescribed guidelines on how to communicate with external individuals in the most effective manner
  • Show compassion for their troubles and hope for their opportunity to resolve their matter
  • Help PNCs see the difference between working with the Firm and not working with the Firm
  • Help PNCs understand what sets our firm apart from others and how that positions us to help them in their specific circumstances
  • Follow up with qualified PNCs who don’t immediately retain
  • Reach out regularly to existing and former clients to provide support and identify if any referral opportunities exist

In accord with the ethical rules governing lawyers, the CES will not provide legal advice, quote a fee, or enter into an engagement with a client. Rather, the CES will prepare prospective clients for entering into an engagement with the final documents approved and signed by a licensed attorney.

The selected candidate must be able to keep detailed records, compile reports, and maintain organizational systems. This is a highly bonused position in which the base salary range, negotiable and commensurate with skill and experience, will be between $35,000-$40,000. Our health, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO benefits round out the compensation package.

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience selling high-end products like jewelry, cars, real estate, or luxury goods.
  • Ability to talk high price-points
  • Real-life experience and a few battle scars resulting in an increase in empathy and understanding is an asset
  • Experience overcoming a major obstacle in life and making important changes as a result
  • Active listening skills and the ability to influence behaviors and attitude
  • Education/Experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree

About Halligan LLC

Halligan LLC exclusively practices Family Law. While many firms have several areas of focus, we believe that by being a Jack-of-all-Trades the attorney is an Expert-at-None.

We purposely maintain a smaller than average caseload for our attorneys so that we can be more effective at identifying all the important details about each client's matter that could otherwise be missed in the rush of deadlines that is so common when carrying a heavier caseload.

Our experience with complex and nuanced issues such as UCCJEA, hidden assets, receiverships, and business interests in divorce set us apart from other Family Law firms.

Employees are able to grow and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where recognition for individual achievements is valued and ongoing opportunities for growth through coaching and leadership abound.
