We are looking for a stellar Salesperson (also called Client Engagement Coordinator) to ensure that the firm is always putting its best foot forward for potential new clients.

This position will entail both sales and customer service responsibilities. This position is for successful salespeople only who can both sell legal services and cultivate new relationships to generate new leads. We provide training in what you need to know to best help clients, and for the right person, this will be a highly rewarding position personally, professionally, and financially.

We need a highly motivated, bright, detail-oriented, creative, energetic, empathetic, and compassionate person who can convey the value of our services to potential clients and enhance the client experience. You will work closely with other members of the team to develop and maintain relationships with clients and referral sources. You will help us realize our vision of helping more people!

Responsibilities

This position will

  • Conduct in-depth in-person, telephonic, and Zoom meetings with potential new clients to perform a needs analysis
  • Maintain a tracking system to monitor leads, new clients, and referral sources
  • Follow up with potential new clients who have not yet retained us
  • Produce weekly lead conversion and cost of acquisition reports for review with the Owner.
  • Manage client feedback and reviews
  • In accordance with the ethical rules governing lawyers, the Client Engagement Coordinator will not provide legal advice, quote a fee that has not been authorized by the attorney, or sign an engagement with a client. Rather, the Client Engagement Coordinator will prepare prospective clients for entering into an engagement with the Owner or other designated attorney.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Understand how to build a relationship with a person
  • Show the ability to interact with different types of personalities
  • Show empathy to potential clients and put them at ease during a difficult time
  • Know how to close a sale by creating urgency and promoting the value
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both over the phone and in writing
  • Think on their toes and not discouraged when things don’t go as planned
  • Be willing and able to quickly learn about new topics (like the criminal justice system)
  • Treat a call or meeting at 4:30 on a Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning
  • Must be willing to travel for sales training – this is an absolute
  • You MUST be willing to make yourself available to make and receive calls on the weekends and after regular business hours if a lead comes in.
  • Ability to speak and write Spanish fluently required.

Qualifications

The salesperson doesn’t give legal advice, so the legal experience is not required. Prior sales and customer service experience is required because we can teach you how a case moves through the system, but we can’t teach you how to care about people who are facing life-changing charges or injuries.

Compensation
$40,000 -$50,000 base + generous incentive plan
