WHAT: A small, family-owned business in Waldo (KCMO) is looking to add to our Front Office and Lobby team.

WHO: We are looking for dependable, self-starters that LOVE dogs and dog loving people. We work hard. And play hard.

HOW: Our client coordinators are the face of our business and its central nervous system. This position can be intense and requires the ability to multi-task while remaining solely focused on the important tasks at hand. It is also an abundantly rewarding position as you are able to interact with EVERY dog (and client) that walks through our doors.

This full-time position is a 40+ hours per week obligation. This does include some weekends and holidays (paid at an additional rate) and will vary based on a week-to-week schedule.

• Must have outstanding client service skills, getting to know our clients and their needs
• Maintain guest records through contact with clients and Veterinarians
• Assist new clients with information, procedures, and requirements for setting up temperament tests
• Answer phones, email, and texts to help clients with reservations and general information about our business
• Must be able to appropriately handle dogs sizes ranging from 2 lbs. to 175lbs on leash, while maintaining control and keeping your team safe
• Understanding client's instructions and/or special needs for boarding/daycare check-ins and check-outs and being able to communicate these needs to the kennel staff and electronically documenting
• Give facility tours (within 4 weeks of hire)
• Soft selling and marketing are an absolute must

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
• Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skills

• Previous dog handling and/or veterinarian experience is preferred, albeit not required
• 1+ years of relevant reception/client service experience required
