Are you a social worker, senior living advisor, geriatric care manager, licensed practical nurse, or have similar experience working with seniors with dementia?
Do you enjoy helping seniors and their families navigate better outcomes along their elder care journey?
Would you enjoy an opportunity to connect with your clients in a meaningful way, without the long and unpredictable hours of many health care positions?
Then, we should definitely speak!
The Elderlaw Firm, located in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Care Coordinator. This person will help clients and their families make plans for the type of care they'll need, where they could get it, and how to get it in the best possible way.
The successful person at this job will be friendly, encouraging, and solutions-oriented, and make other people comfortable even in troubling times. You would build relationships with your clients and with other professionals in the senior care community.
You'll need to be organized, flexible, and dedicated to ongoing improvement in your role and how you do it. This is a new position, and your enthusiasm for new challenges and welcoming new clients and referral sources will be key. If you're not already familiar with how Medicaid for long term care works in North Carolina, you will have an opportunity to learn that and help families obtain key government assistance when appropriate.
At The Elderlaw Firm, we strive to be the best team of estate planning and elder law professionals in the area by providing peace of mind to our clients and their families throughout life.
We are a small firm, with a great work environment and a team committed to making a difference in the lives of our clients, each other, and our community.
