Class A Tractor Trailer Driver - FT/PT
Fab-Tex, a truck dealer located in Western Suffolk County, is expanding its service team. We are currently looking to hire a Class A Driver who is willing to join our growing team. Serious inquiries only - must know how to drive a manual transmission Kenworth and tow a landoll trailer.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are a representation of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- The employee is required to stand, walk, grasp tools, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit for an extended time period, lift/ move up to 25 lbs, and have good vision.
- Must have a clean CDL license and be able to pass a DOT drug test.
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: Based on experience
Schedule:
- Monday through Saturday
- Between the times of 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
- Flexible schedule

- Deliver equipment and trucks to various locations as instructed and safely unload equipment.
- Conform to all safety rules and use all the appropriate safety equipment to operate any equipment authorized to complete your job.
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
- Assist in moving vehicles to different yards
- Must be willing to help in yard when not driving
- *Class A CDL license - must know how to drive a manual transmission tractor and landoll trailer*
- Tow Endorsement - or willing to add it
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, motivation, focus, and organization.
- Must have great communication skills within a team environment.
- Can work in a face-paced shop without sacrificing quality of work.
