As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you’ll be the main caregiver for outpatients coming in and receiving an intranasal treatment over the course of a 2-hour visit, providing blood pressure checks every 20 minutes. This position also requires documentation of the blood pressure results, assistance for the Physician's Assistant in obtaining authorizations for medication or sessions, and scheduling appointments with the Physician's Assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Relay important data or changes of patient status to charge nurse or general physician and other facility staff as needed

  • Be able to manage tasks in a timely manner
  • Accurate medical documentation
  • Ensure rooms are clean and sanitized between patients
  • Friendly and courteous demeanor

Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills in working with patients and families to maintain positive relationships
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position
  • Completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a medical facility, vocational school, or community college
  • Knowledgeable in record keeping through a computerized database to maintain patient history
Compensation
$17 - $20 hourly
