Growing Law Firm is Hiring an Experienced Case Manager

You'll play an integral role in creating first-class client experiences within an entrepreneurial family law firm that is on track for aggressive growth. We need an experienced Case Manager to join our team and be a total superstar – working directly with the owner to support the team and help our clients.

This is an executive-level position for a Case Manager who will be responsible for monitoring the Firm’s “legal pipeline” to ensure cases make progress to deadlines and milestones, work on cases is fully funded, and that clients/matters do not languish or fall through the cracks. We need someone with significant experience building and managing pipeline reports.  

We are looking for a case manager who is skilled at the technical creation, technical updating, management, and monitoring of the legal pipeline report. This case manager has the desire to provide the team and clients with the ultimate customer service experience and who is capable of handling very important deadlines. This job requires the right combination of technical skills, communication skills, and attention to detail. Strong knowledge of Excel and Project Management Software is required and non-negotiable. You will be required to create and update reports from scratch. Knowledge of Case Management Software is preferred. If these statements resonate with you, then you may be our candidate!

Responsibilities

  • Using reports and case review meetings, ensure clients and matters move through the workflow pipeline at the right pace and that tasks are completed on time
  • Reviews case management system weekly for the quality and timeliness of time entries/documentation of work done
  • Prepares weekly Dashboard and Project/Status Report for the Owners and attends weekly Case Status Meeting with Owners
  • Monitors tasks and workflows
  • Compiles case management data into reports for Owners
  • Conducts Case Status Meeting with the Legal Team to ensure new clients are on-boarded, active cases are making progress toward milestones, closed matters are closed
  • Manage cross-functional project teams to ensure case timelines
  • Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators and prepare and deliver reports to stakeholders
  • Meet with leaders throughout the organization to understand needs and determine actionable steps necessary to reach case resolutions
  • Create, communicate, and audit various organizational initiatives and relay progress back to key stakeholders in the business

Qualifications

  • This is a key position in the firm. It is a full-time job, so you MUST be available to work 40 hours per week
  • You embrace technology and have strong practical experience with cloud-based platforms for case management, document management, CRM, calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets, and word processing
  • You have extensive practical experience with common office applications (Word, Outlook email and calendar, Google, etc.)
  • You must have excellent spelling and grammar
  • You have a penchant for accuracy and will work tirelessly to avoid mistakes that can cost our clients (and us) dearly

We are investing time and energy in building our A-Team. Initial compensation will be based your experience, with opportunities for increases after that. There is an opportunity for bonus compensation for those who can demonstrate their profitability.
