Green Genie Cannabis Co is currently looking to expand our team of Cannabis Consultants! Ideal candidates are motivated individuals, who enjoy working with patients on the sales floor. Ideal candidates enjoy a fast-paced environment and are always eager to enhance each patient's experience while educating them about medical cannabis products and accessories.

Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Pay is based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15 - $20 per hour (Pay is based on experience)

Schedule:

• 12-hour shift
• 8-hour shift

• Tips

• Service patients in a retail sales setting. Consult and advise patients on products.
• Assist customers/patients with the purchase of cannabis and/or cannabis products.
• Recommend suitable products according to what the customer/patient is looking for.
• Greet customers/patients in the store in a professional welcoming manner.
• Provide insight into new trends, products, and strains.
• Provide good professional customer service at all times.
• Gain knowledge of strain characteristics, taste, aroma, effects, etc. through sources and demonstrate gained knowledge when assisting customers/patients.
• Must be able to recommend similar strains and products if we’re out of stock on a specific strain or product a customer/patient is looking for.
• Have the ability to teach and/or pass gained knowledge to team members, customers, and patients.
• Market customers/patients in order to upsell strains and products.
• Assist in packaging, labeling, stocking, and production of products to be sold.
• Maintain and ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked and presentable at all times.
• Inform management of customer/patient complaints and/or any operational issues that need to be addressed.
• Know and gain knowledge of the different methods of consumption.
• Demonstrate good communication skills.

This role requires:

• A successful background check
• At least 2+ years of customer service is preferred
• Prior experience in the cannabis industry is preferred
• Must be 18+ years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED is required; an Associates degree or higher is preferred
• Self-starters who know how to figure things out and know when to ask for help
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• A passion for cannabis and a desire to continually learn more
• Exceptional attention to detail, well-organized and reliable

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, reach with hands and arms, stand, talk and hear, walk, sit, stoop, and lift or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to use written and oral communication skills, read and interpret data, information and documents, analyze and solve problems, use math and mathematical reasoning, observe and interpret situations, learn and apply new information or new skills, work under deadlines and constant interruptions, interact with staff and other organizations, and occasionally deal with dissatisfied or quarrelsome individuals.
