The Commercial Buyer’s Agent is an individual who is self-motivated, sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing. He/she is responsive and assertive, able to build rapport and trust quickly. This individual has a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality.
In addition, he/she demonstrates on a daily basis the knowledge, attitudes, skills, and habits of a high-achieving agent who is committed to putting clients first, doing the right thing, and seeking win-win agreements.
The Commercial Buyer’s Agent will service leads daily, convert those leads to appointments and signed buyer's agreements, and conduct buyer/tenant needs analysis. Using the information from the needs analysis they will begin searching for properties primarily using CoStar but also using other MLS systems, and occasionally making direct contact with owners of off-market opportunities. They will refine the search criteria and conduct property showings as needed with the help of the Lead Commercial Agent when necessary, they will negotiate the offer, write the contract, and oversee the deal through to closing.
The Commercial Buyer’s Agent will primarily service leads coming from listing calls and referrals, but is also expected to network with builders, developers, and investors in the area to generate buyer leads and match potential buyers to known off-market opportunities as well as listed properties.
The Commercial Buyer’s Agent also demonstrates a commitment to learning and strives for growth by regularly attending courses and personally educating themselves on the North Metro Atlanta commercial real estate market.
