As a Business Development Representative, you will prospect for and acquire new clients on a daily basis from various inbound and outbound lead sources provided by our team. You will lead all aspects of the process from prospecting for new clients, cultivating relationships, and coaching and influencing leads to take action on their ultimate lifestyle goals to setting appointments for the Outside Sales Agents and managing all lead generation processes in our contact management database system.

This person has the drive and tenacity to achieve or exceed productivity, appointment setting, and revenue targets while responding efficiently to customer inquiries and the subsequent documentation, assignment, and personalized follow-up of those leads.

This individual must be highly trustworthy—in addition to being the first point of contact for the team, they will also have access to sensitive files and information regarding associates, customers, and finances.

Activities of the Business Development Representative directly affect the bottom line and as such, they are deeply committed to the team achieving greater levels of success, as well as to growing their own skills and developing into a leader within the team.


  • Work within your specific geography to find new business opportunities
  • Prospect potential customers via cold calling, email, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads
  • Primary duties include outbound calling, texting, coordination, and scheduling of real estate buying and selling appointments, and overall management of sales pipeline through the sales cycle
  • Accurately qualify potential customers for appointments with licensed Outside Sales Agents
  • Accurately track and report productivity and sales metrics
  • Understand and adhere to local, state, and federal laws regarding real estate brokerage services
  • Work within your specific geography to find new business opportunities
