- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and pursue new opportunities for revenue growth.
- Prospect and engage with potential clients, including businesses and individuals, to introduce our insurance products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, brokers, and industry partners to generate referral business and strategic alliances.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of tele-sales professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their sales targets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective lead generation strategies, campaigns, and sales collateral.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data, provide regular reports to senior management, and propose strategies for improvement.
- Stay informed about insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence in all business development activities.
- Proven experience in business development and sales within the insurance industry, with a focus on telesales or remote sales management.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a remote team to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products and services, particularly in the commercial and personal lines segments.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, sales tools, and other relevant software applications.
- A valid insurance license in the state(s) where business will be conducted.
