As the South Florida business development representative for our rapidly expanding company, you will manage relationships with Realtors and other referral sources to expand and deepen the relationship so that they continue using our services. Needless to say, your social and conversational skills are your outlying strength. When people describe the person you are, they say you are a master of building relationships because you have a keen understanding of how to nurture a relationship from the first meeting and going forward. You're a natural people person and you love to socialize.

You will be given all the necessary training, leads, scripts, and spending account to maximize your success. Mortgage or Real Estate experience is not required, but being a people person is an absolute must and you must have your own reliable transportation. Responsibilities
  • Manage appointments with agents, bankers, and professionals for lunches and happy hours with a goal of 10-12 face-to-face meetings a week

  • Write and send 5 personalized cards per day for special occasions including thank-yous, birthdays, congratulations, etc. (including gifts and pop-bys, when appropriate).
  • Think of unique and personal gifts for our Realtor partners. Needless to say, you will need to get to know them on a social level.
  • Learn our Unique Selling Proposition and help referral sources (eg. Realtors) understand the benefits of working with us.
  • Make 20 to 40 calls per day to Realtors with loans in process with us, pre-approved clients that are still looking for a home, and referral sources that you have met with.
  • Track outbound calls and meetings on a spreadsheet.
  • Hold fun monthly events with Realtors to deepen and maintain existing relationships.

Qualifications
  • Strong time management skills, communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the sales process and how to enter information into client databases
  • A dependable form of transportation is a must in order to attend client meetings

  • Impeccable business wardrobe
  • Excellent spoken and written English - other languages are a plus but not required
