The New Construction Bookkeeper will be handling daily tasks associated with various projects. Primary responsibilities will be focused on processing Accounts Payables and ensuring that Vendors are paid in accordance with all contractual and company requirements. As a part of the Operational Accounting Team, the New Construction Bookkeeper will be working in collaboration with the Director of Operations and CFO.

• Salary Range: 57,000-60,000 DOE

This position shall report to the Director of Operations and assist with the duties of that role:

Subcontractor Payables:

• Notify Subcontractors of missing or non-compliant billing requirements.
• Follow up and communicate with Project Managers and Subcontractors throughout the entire payment process to completion.
• Process subcontract payments ensuring Alchemy billing requirements are met.
• Maintain subcontract documents utilizing Dropbox and Quickbase.

Accounts Payable:

• Verify invoices and proposals for accuracy and make updates to the accounting system.
• Compile invoice/documentation for monthly equity draws, this will be project-specific.
• General Accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be team-oriented and work within a “shared inbox” system.
• 1+ years of accounting administrative experience. Construction background preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
• Attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills required.
• Excellent commitment to customer service.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks for Mac is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Dropbox and Quickbase is extremely helpful.
