Full Charge Bookkeeper

Do you possess the expertise and experience to oversee daily accounting operations while maintaining a strong focus on the organization? We are seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper who enjoys working mostly independently. This role may be of interest to you if you enjoy keeping multiple books and like improving systems. Responsibilities include payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciling accounts, managing vendor relationships, and creating budgets. Our ideal candidate is very experienced in bookkeeping, highly organized, self-motivated, computer savvy, and able to learn quickly.


  • Oversee daily accounting operations
  • Develop monthly reports and yearly budgets
  • Recording Transactions and Maintaining Records
  • Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers
  • Process payroll to distribute payment to employees on time
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely manner
  • Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements
  • Maintain employee files
  • Process new hire forms
  • Communicate with vendors and customers
  • Manage phones
  • Banking
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Annual tax assistance (Such as w-9 creation and distribution)
  • Work directly with CEO

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required; degree in finance or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks (3 years minimum experience)
  • Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years payroll experience (in house)
  • 5+ years accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
  • Proficiency in Google Products ( Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment
  • Highly Motivated and a Self-Starter
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills

$18 - $28 hourly
