We are looking for a skilled accountant to play a key role on our growing team. You’ll be responsible for leading our financial department that manages all of our financial transactions (over $1 billion in real estate transaction volume!) including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, and posting information to accounting journals and other company accounting systems. The ideal candidate is a strong team player, has great communication and leadership skills, is detail-oriented, and highly organized and has a growth mindset. • Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial statements
• Verify accuracy within day books and all ledgers
• Perform bookkeeping duties: Maintain data on financial statements
• Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely manner
• Consistently input daily financial transactions and finalize the posting process

• Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• At least 2 years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a cost accountant, management accountant, bookkeeper, or related position
• Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
