Do you love helping people? We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic bell attendant to become our newest team member and help our guests have a great stay with us. You’ll meet and greet guests when they arrive and leave, bring luggage to guest rooms, support the front desk staff, make runs to the airport in Baton Rouge for flight crews and assist guests as needed to ensure that when they leave, they’re already looking forward to their next stay. Responsibilities
  • Carry luggage for guests from their vehicle up to their room in a safe and professional way
  • Perform other hotel services as assigned and respond to guest requests as necessary, such as delivering mail and food to guest’s rooms, taking laundry service, making sure public areas are clean, and checking the guest’s luggage for storage
  • Make sure the bell desk is always neat and tidy
  • Attend to guests when they arrive and leave the hotel
  • Support the front desk staff and bell captain with check-in and responding to guest requests

  • Make runs to and from Baton Rouge airport for flight crews/ occasional regular guests

Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent certification such as a GED
  • Displays exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift over 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Must have a flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in hospitality as a bell attendant, concierge, or similar customer service position

  • Clean driving record and current drivers license

Compensation
$10 - $12 hourly
