Our successful hotel is seeking a dedicated banquet captain who is eager to provide our guests with an unforgettable event experience. We require someone with exceptional leadership abilities to manage banquet staff and ensure that our hotel services are of the highest quality. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with 3+ years of hospitality experience, preferably in a management role, and an unwavering commitment to client satisfaction.   • Communicate all event orders to on-site banquet staff members, so they are aware of their roles and obligations
  • Coordinate the daily operations of the banquet area and ensure you are providing an exceptional level of service by purchasing supplies, managing event space set-up, and setting proper staffing levels for events
  • Assess and document the outcome of each event to propel future improvement upon all processes
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory role in hospitality or food service
  • High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree in hospitality management preferred
  • Display excellent communication skills with clients and coworkers
  • Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
