Our beautiful hotel is seeking to attract and build a Back of House team of exceptional hospitality professionals. Right now we are looking to add a Line Cook to our team.

We are seeking a skilled cook who possesses knowledge of various cooking techniques such as poaching, braising, roasting, charbroiling, sautéing, grilling, frying, and baking. It is essential that every dish is prepared in accordance with our standard recipes, meets our guests' expectations, and is cooked to perfection. The perfect candidate will exhibit exceptional time management skills and a team-oriented mindset, enabling them to work effectively with other kitchen staff and ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare food orders on the line by cooking items to order, grilling, broiling, sauteing and meet all presentation guidelines and follow standard recipes
  • Guarantee that quality food is supplied, by adhering to specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products
  • Set up cooking stations and fill them with all of the essential preparation items for a shift
  • Maintain work stations, including all countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition per health and safety regulations
  • Demonstrate professional and pleasant demeanor when interacting with visitors, vendors, and associates

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED
  • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
  • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
  • Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic

Compensation
$18 - $20 hourly
