Automotive Service Manager for 12V Accessories

A career 12V installer is one of the most versatile technicians in the automotive industry. We are seeking an individual who has proven experience in this specific field. As the Install manager, it is your responsibility to help guide and train your store's entire staff to ensure our customers are not only getting the best solution for their vehicle, but also the best experience with Cartronics. This includes working with the Sales staff to provide better solutions for customers. It also includes making sure your installers are working smart and efficiently. If you have a team member who is not excelling in this area, take time to offer additional training in their areas of weakness. An Install Manager’s primary duty is to manage all the day-to-day aspects of the shop, as well as assist the Store Manager and Sales Team with operations of the store. Make sure that the technicians and the shop are as efficient as possible with their duties.

• Verify that all jobs in the shop are being performed up to company standards outlined in our Installation Standards document.
• Verify that all of the store’s technicians understand and perform their job duties as outlined by our Installer Expectations.
• Assist the Sales team as needed to ensure that customers are getting helped in a timely manner. This includes phone calls and in person.
• Review all the jobs completed in the shop to ensure that the installations have been properly completed, and the sales orders have been updated.
• Make sure that the installation bays are cleaned and tools are put away in between jobs and at the end of each day.
• Take inventory of all shop parts and shop supplies that may have been used and make a list of items that need to be replenished.
• Attend company meetings and training.

• Expert-level knowledge of 12v installations and automotive accessories.
• Years of experience installing 12v electronics in a professional setting.
• Automotive Fabrication experience.
• Ownership of necessary tools for this industry.
• Knowledge emphasis specifically on Car Audio and vehicle integration.
• Employee management experience.
