Gardner Trucking, a subsidiary of Badger State Fruit is seeking a Parts Manager to work in the truck repair shop. The Parts Manager's responsibility is to return a satisfactory profit on the shop’s investment in parts inventory. The Parts Manager accomplishes their objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization and security. As with all positions with Badger State Fruit and Gardner Trucking, Parts Managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.
Education and Experience: Two (2) years of industry work experience. Degree or certificate in auto mechanics preferred, but not required.
Must have valid drivers license. Class A CDL preferred.
Physical requirements: Must be able to stand for 8+ hours and lift 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs with assistance.
Strong Communication: Able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and coworkers across multiple media: phone, email, radio, etc. to provide an excellent work and customer service environment.
Organization: Ability to multitask and maintain perspective on a range of ongoing processes.
