Our firm is looking for an attorney with tax and/or trust law experience or knowledge, who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients and administrative staff. - Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks
- Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
- Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
- Ability to structure and restructure business entities and to advise and counsel clients in such structuring
- Ability to create ancillary documents related to such transactions.
- Have excellent follow-up and organizational skills
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently while handling multiple files
- Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus
- Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred
- Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed
