Attorney - Real Estate and Litigation
Our law firm has a need for a litigation attorney to assist with caseload. You’ll be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. If you’ve successfully completed law school and are seeking a full-time opportunity to practice law with plenty of room for growth, start your application today! People working on taking the bar can apply, but there is a strong preference for hiring someone who already passed.
Please note that the salary range is an estimated annual income, but this is not a straight-salary position. You would earn a $36,000 base salary and a tiered fee split on collected revenue booked to our billing software. You should earn another $36,000 at a minimum on top of the base salary. But, you can earn more than that. After a year or two of building client relationships, you should be earning six figures.
Working here, you will learn civil litigation, creditor's bankruptcy work, probates, foreclosures, business entity formation, basic wills and estate planning, and other things. This is an entry-level position, but a lateral hire of an experienced candidate could happen as well and could potentially result in an entirely different compensation structure. Feel free to apply as a lateral hire as well either with or without a portable book of clients.
We do foreclosures, litigation, and some transactional work such as business entity formation or basic estate planning. When someone is looking for a real estate or business lawyer, this is where they may go.
This is a small law firm with two contract attorneys and one managing attorney, and one support staff.
