Seeking dynamic lawyer (0-3 years qualified) to join a growing legal practice in an exciting international context.

Our legal practice centers around advising world-class hedge funds and banks (New York-based predominantly). We are a boutique law firm servicing hedge funds and financial institutions with respect to trading and financing arrangements. We are not a traditional law firm and have also built our own proprietary technology for contract analytics and workflow.

All work will be carried out remotely - working from home.

• Key workflow is advising, drafting and negotiating hedge fund trading agreements (ISDA, Prime Brokerage, Futures Clearing, Repo, etc.)
• Assisting clients (including global investment banks) with the implementation of regulatory projects

• Applicants must be in the Montreal area but all work will be conducted remotely.
• High proficiency in English is an absolute must.
• Quebec Bar is required.
• NY Bar (not required but strong asset).
• Previous experience in negotiating trading agreements for Hedge Funds (not required but strong asset).
• Experience in drafting/negotiating contracts is valued.
• Background in finance is valued.
