Candidates should be well-versed in preparing necessary legal documents in connection with initiating and finalizing divorces, adoptions, spousal support, child custody and child support. • Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
• Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings
• Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action

• Must be able to attend and prepare for hearings in-person and/or Zoom
• Must be able to achieve billable requirements
• Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders
• Legal Research

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations

• Juris Doctor degree required
• Must be able to work without a legal assistant or paralegal
• Must be able to collaborate with legal team as necessary on cases
• Must have worked on family law issues for at least 5 years
• Must be organized and self-motivated
• Must be licensed in the State of Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
