We’re looking for an attorney to join us in helping our clients’ businesses grow. We help franchisees and other entrepreneurs get their deals done. If you haven’t run deals but have relevant experience and want to learn more and become better, this is a great opportunity. You will work directly with a partner on projects and get as much oversight and training as you and we decide you need. We will mentor you on drafting, negotiation, client management and case management skills. You will be exposed to our networks and learn about the huge and varied franchise industry. Your job will be to assist with larger matters; take the lead on some aspects of those larger matters; and take the lead on some smaller matters - all the while learning and building skills to get to a point where you can give clients practical and insightful help and direction.
The ideal candidate has three to five years of experience with one or more of the following:

We take a collaborative approach with our clients, opposing counsel, our staff, and our vendors. Our clients are typically looking for multi-unit franchise opportunities and need our assistance with purchasing or selling franchised businesses, real estate sales, and acquisitions, leasing, development, title work, reviewing franchise documents, negotiating complex multi-year deals with franchisors, and counseling on and writing up partnership agreements.
