Our law firm is looking for an associate attorney on a contract basis. We expect most work to be completed remotely but may require in-person office days from time to time. We primarily work with private investment funds. If you have experience with, or are interested in learning about, venture funds, private equity funds, hedge funds or real estate funds, this may be an opportunity for you. You will work closely with our attorneys, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. Recent graduates with a demonstrated interest in corporate/fund work are encouraged to apply.

• Draft or review various legal documents such as private placement memoranda, operating or partnership agreements, subscription agreements and various other contracts.
• Provide legal counsel to clients based on their individual needs, including, proposed structuring of transactions.
• Keeping time entries.
• Responding to requests from counsel.

• Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
• Successful completion of the bar exam
• Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients
• Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
