Our estate planning and elder law firm is currently in search of an Estate Planning Associate Attorney with ample experience to join our team. This individual will collaborate closely with our senior attorney and support staff to deliver exceptional client service and ensure that our client's needs are addressed. To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate should possess a robust understanding of estate planning, probate, trust administration, and elder law matters.

Responsibilities

  • Counsel clients on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and elder law matters.
  • Draft estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
  • Assist clients with the administration of trusts and estates, including preparing inventories, accountings, and tax returns.
  • Provide guidance to clients on long-term care planning, Medicaid planning, and other elder law matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients' cases.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure that clients' needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist senior attorneys with legal work and participate in firm initiatives.
  • Attend client meetings, depositions, and court hearings as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state where the firm is located.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, or elder law.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and other professionals.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Compensation
$75,000 - $90,000 yearly
