We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing Plaintiffs' Personal Injury firm. We are looking for an associate with experience handling cases from intake through trial to verdict, who understands how to manage, negotiate, settle, and try personal injury cases.
We will expect the associate to work within all our practice areas, which include motor vehicle crashes, trucking, product liability, insurance bad faith, wrongful death, premises liability, and various other smaller sub-areas of personal injury. We do not practice workers' compensation but would be open to someone who can handle those cases. We do not usually take medical malpractice cases but do assess them.
We work as co-counsel in- and out-of-state and will expect the associate to be comfortable doing the same. We do not require that you bring a caseload with you.
Compensation will come in the form of a base salary of $60,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and caseload (if any) that you can bring to the firm, along with a 20% commission each quarter on cases after meeting a quarterly goal. An agreed annual salary will directly affect the quarterly goal, so a higher quarterly goal in fees will result in a higher salary. A lower salary will translate to a lower quarterly goal. Commission kicks in once you reach that quarterly goal.
