Our Social Security Disability Associate Attorneys work alongside other attorneys and paralegals, assisting individuals with physical and or/mental disabilities to file and pursue claims for Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income.

• Handling all aspects of case development and preparation to represent clients at their disability hearings before Administrative Law Judges
• Assist with oversight and provide guidance to support staff in matters related to legal issues or the handling of claims

Required Education and Qualifications

• Organized, fast learner who enjoys working in a dynamic and busy environment
• Current bar admission (does not need to be New York)
• Strong written and verbal/communication skills
• Desire to become a contributor to an excellent team of attorneys and support staff
• One or more years of hearing/courtroom experience or experience taking testimony in litigation or other administrative proceedings
• Willingness to learn and develop skills necessary to further their career working with clients who are injured or disabled
• Strong knowledge of PC applications, Windows, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Prior Social Security Disability experience
