Our leading real estate investment firm is looking for an assistant property manager. The ideal assistant property manager must be able to manage a portfolio of properties and possess strong leadership and customer service skills in dealing with tenants and vendors. This position will be responsible for enforcing regulations, managing vendor & tenant relationships, and overseeing maintenance.

This position requires someone who has strong computer skills (Microsoft Office), is able to take initiative, is well organized, detail-oriented, and is firm but fair. Ideally, we would like someone to have +1 year of Prop Management experience or related (construction, real estate sales, etc)

Responsibilities
  • Collects rent, pays bills, schedules and keeps track of expenditures to help ensure financial goals
  • Contract with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting and refunding security deposits to facilitate smooth move-in and move-out processes
  • Maintain property by investing and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units, and contracting with landscaping services to ensure our tenant’s satisfaction
  • Maintain vendor relationships, implement budgets and coordinate on-site operations to ensure smooth operation of the property
Qualifications
  • Customer service or real estate sales background preferred
  • Demonstrable skills in negotiation and selling
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Able and willing to work both evenings and weekends
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Compensation
$39,000 - $42,000 yearly
