Job Summary

The Assistant Property Manager will assist in the management of all property and tenant concerns. You strive to provide excellent customer service to tenants while maximizing efficiency in your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a natural fascination for speaking with others and resolving conflicts. Strict organization, meeting deadlines, and following procedures will be your keys to success. You must be an effective communicator and manager of resources. Salary will depend on the experience and cultural fit of the candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Provide concierge customer service to tenants
  • Ensure maintenance work orders are correctly and timely completed
  • Handle incoming phone, e-mail, and walk-in inquiries
  • Resolve tenant concerns effectively
  • Process all leasing applications and paperwork
  • Maintain office materials and appearance
  • Assist in the sublease process
  • Perform tours of available properties
  • Assist the Leasing Manager in leasing and marketing vacant properties
  • Assist managers in the collection of outstanding rent and pending evictions
  • Ensure move-ins and move-outs are smoothly transitioned
  • Review and edit tenant ledgers for accuracy
Qualifications

Success Factors

Education:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent), required
  • Post-Secondary Education, preferred
  • CPM certification, a plus

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 year experience in property management
  • 3-5 year experience in customer service
  • Expert in MS Office, emphasis on Excel
  • Exceptional financial, time management, and analytical skills
  • Highly organized, concise, and ability to perform well under stress
  • Outstanding communication and mediation skills
  • High-spirited and enthusiastic around others
Compensation
$12 - $15 hourly
