We are looking for an experienced assistant general manager with solid leadership abilities who can grow with us. As a seasonal role from April through the end of October, you'll have the opportunity to be the face of our establishment during our bustling and vibrant peak months. You will collaborate with our general manager to plan and oversee the hotel's daily operations and assume the GM responsibilities in their absence. This position is responsible for managing employees and ensuring our guests have a 5-star experience with our services. You must have 2 years of management experience in the hospitality industry and a bachelor's degree in hospitality management is strongly preferred. • Analyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for hotel operations
• Create the yearly hotel budget in collaboration with the general manager and department heads, and assess and adjust performance throughout the year to stay profitable
• Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support
• Support the general manager in the daily operation of the hotel to ensure that all guest service standards are met
• Manage compliance with company or brand established policies and procedures and any local, state, and federal laws and regulations

• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
• 3+ years of experience working in a hotel or the hospitality industry required
• This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree with preference given to those with a hospitality management degree
• A proven record of experience managing a team, preferably in a hospitality role, is required
