We're searching for an experienced hotel assistant manager to help our general manager plan and oversee the hotel's day-to-day operations. When the general manager is unavailable, you will be in charge of supervising personnel, dealing with client problems, and ensuring that we maintain high guest satisfaction scores. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service while adhering to hotel budget and quality standards. Two years of hotel supervisory experience is required. Responsibilities
  • Analyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for hotel operations
  • Consult with the general manager to ensure that all guest service standards are met daily
  • Deliver support to the human resources department to help them improve turnover management, employee motivation, and staff growth and retention
  • Collaborate with department heads and the general manager to develop an annual budget, and assess performance throughout the year, making modifications as needed to preserve profitability
  • Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed

  • Manage the financially impacting actions of all staff by spot checking everyday front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance responsibilities to include payroll statistics, accounting reconciliation, and third party reservation tracking / payment.
  • Maintain consistent and effective interdepartmental communication, promoting a healthy work environment.

Qualifications
  • A proven record of experience managing a team, preferably in a hospitality role, is required
  • A high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in hospitality management or a related field
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality
  • You must have 3 or more years of experience working in the hospitality field

  • Showcase exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving/resolution skills.
