The Hotel Salem operates The Roof in Salem and Counter. Two thriving restaurant operations for visitors to the North Shore and locals. Additionally, The Cellar hosts a number of public and private events throughout the year. We are looking for a energetic and experienced manager to support the service of these venues through the summer and fall. The restaurants are busy, guests have high expectations, and we aim to exceed them. Joining our team will not only test your skills and keep you on your toes, but connect you to a network within Lark Hotels that offers personal and professional growth.


  • Be a mentor to your team and create a motivating environment.
  • Ability to maintain and manage the budget and inventory.
  • Drive daily workflow and maintain quality service for every guest.
  • Work with the Executive Chef with line checks ensuring food quality and staff commitment to SOPs
  • Assist the sales team with events
  • Available nights/weekends/holidays


  • At least 2 years of Full-Service Restaurant Experience
  • Prior management experience is a plus but not required. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into a management position and begin growing their career
  • Strong level of organization
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of current food and beverage trends
  • Capability to handle and respond to problems independently.
  • Guest first attitude
  • Great attention to detail.

$20 - $22 hourly
